Love the people. Love the vibe. I had a good laugh at all the witty hunting murals.
This place is awesome and has the best wild pheasant hunting in South Dakota. Family run operation and they really treat you as one of their own. Great food, hospitality and the lodge is top notch. Five+ stars! Highly recommend you check them out.
It is truly "Underpromise and Overdeliver" with the Jorgensens.
It is the big things and then also the small things that make a hunting experience the best it can be: The guides and drivers all have it down...large gunroom/mudroom with shotgun cleaning stations and laundry facilities.... but the staff at the lodge goes that extra mile to do small things like recognize birthdays and achievements, offer collapsible coolers for your birds, trash bags for your rental car cleanup, branded favors (glasses, coasters, etc.) as well as a staged photo with your group. The pro shop has hats, shirts and they can even help with gun-related issues.
